Academy of Military Aptitude and skills(AMAS) is part of Amas Trainings private limited. core focus of AMAS is on training the young generation of nation-loving students for a Career in the Armed Forces of the country. Traditionally , a true leader is a military leader who leads his men into battle. History is replete with examples of wars wherein the war was an acid test of true leadership of any army. Leader has to have skills, acumen, and vision and these come from what we call is Leadership qualities. In the Selection of Offcers for the armed forces what is assessed is these qualities /traits in potential candidates. These qualities oft referred to as leadership traits are at different level of development in different people. AMAS is unique in the sense that here we will not coach you for your SSB we will help you develop these traits so that your personality becomes suitable for undertaking the elite training academies of Army, Navy and Airforce

COL (DR.) MOHINDER PAL SINGH
Director
COL Mohinder Pal Singh , Ph.D was commissioned in the 3 MAHAR Regiment in December 1989. He is a graduate in science from prestigious St Xaviers College, Mumbai, a gold medalist in MSc in Defence and Strategic Studies from University of Allahabad, an MBA in International Trade from IIFT, New Delhi. He has done his Ph.D is in the field of international Relations from University of Allahabad.
In his Army Career of 30 years he has participated in various combat Operations with his battalion and with Rashtriya Rifles Battalion. He has qualified the most difficult training courses of the Indian Army-The Commando course from Infantry school Belgaum and Winter Warfare course at High Altitude Warfare School Gulmarg. He has been GTO at 19 SSB Allahabad for 3 years and Senior GTO at 14 SSB for about 3 years. During his SSB tenure he has assessed over 13000 candidates in stage 1 and over 3000 candidates in stage II for the post of officers. Other then this he has been an Instructor in Military Tactics wing in Infantry School, Belgaum and served as Research officer in College of Defence Management , Secunderabad. He is recipient of Chief Of Army Staff Commendation for his commendable work during Service.
He has published many self help books on Team Building and success mantras which are widely read by the youth. The Titles are- You Can’t Punch with A Thumb, Teams of Tomorrow and Can you Stop the Gushing Stream? He has also published over 40 articles in various journals and newspapers like Times of India (10 October 2019 editorial) , Financial Express and The Tribune, The Hitavada(opinion page 20 Jan 2020 and 8 Jun 2020) on issues related to Defence Forces and national security.
Col Mohinder is the Founder and Director of AMAS TRAINING at Greater Noida where he passionately mentors SSB aspirants for Defence services from across India.

SSB PSYCHOLOGIST
COL SK SHARMA, an NDA Infantry officer with 35 years of army experience and including an UN mission tenure, pursued his interest in the field of Mental and Emotional Health after attending the SSB psychologist course at DIPR, New Delhi , post retirement in DEC 2022and Ex Psychologist , Allahabad. He is a Mindset Coach, Guide, Mentor and Therapist who is also a trained Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner

Colonel SB Singh has been an Interviewing Officer at SSBs for 4 yrs . He has assessed over 8000 candidates in stg 1 and interviewed 2800 candidates in stg 2 at SSBs . He has vast experience of training candidates in focused preparation for SSB interviews since 2016. A large number of his trained candidates have successfully qualified on Army, Airforce, Naval SSBs.
