Gurbhej Singh belongs to a village called Suller, near Patiala in Punjab. His father has been a Subedar Major in the armed forces. He did his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Siliguri and Faridkot. He is a lively and energetic person and was a regular participant in a number of sports activities at school. He joined AMAS in February 2020 and attended classes on SSB and Personality Development. He actively participated in all the extra-curricular activities at AMAS and scored well in the tests. He worked hard and cleared the SSB on 16th March 2020 from 17 SSB Bangalore.

Shashwat Gupta hails from Betiahata in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. His father is a businessman. Shashwat attended Hari Prasad Children’s Academy and Udaya Public School, both in Gorakhpur. He was a good student throughout and also took part in extra-curricular activities such as singing and drawing. He was involved in indoor sports such as chess as well as outdoor sports such as cricket. He attended classes at AMAS in February 2020 and was an attentive student and an active participant in all activities. He had always been interested in joining the armed forces and cleared the SSB on 27th February 2020 from 12 SSB for NDA. We are indeed proud of him and wish him all the best.

Siddhant Kotnala belongs to Pune in Maharashtra. His father is a retired JWO from Indian Air Force. Siddhant did his schooling from Army Public School, Jammu Cantonment, and Shiksha Bharti Public School, New Delhi. He was a hard-working student and scored excellent percentages in both class Xth and class XIIth. He went on to study B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Fergusson College, Pune. He has been a part of NCC and has also been actively involved in a number of sports such as swimming, water polo, football, basketball, and marathon racing. He has also participated in many speech and debate competitions and quizzes. He joined AMAS in December 2019 and was recommended by 22 SSB Bhopal on 25th February 2020 for IMA 149 Course for Permanent Commission.

Om Shiva Rout hails from Hirakud in Odisha. He is the son of Nb Sub Santosh Kumar Rout (Mahar Regiment) posted with 1 Rashtriya Rifles. Om Shiva Rout did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and was a good student throughout. He participated in quizzes and science exhibitions and was also an active participant in cricket, basketball, and badminton. As he was good at sports he wanted to join NDA. He prepared well and cleared the NDA written exam. SSB was a hard nut to crack for him but he persevered. He came to know about AMAS Training from another successful candidate, as an institute which inducts a limited number of students per batch and provides personal mentoring. At AMAS he worked hard, practised well, and was able to imbibe all the suggestions and guidance given to him. He cleared the SSB on 31st January 2020.

SACHIN , BOY FROM VILL- PILNI , KAITHAL ,HARYANA SELECTED TO BE OFFICER IN INDIAN ARMY

Sachin , a boy from Vill- Pilni ,Kaithal (Harayana), who’s father is Naik in Indian Army cracked  SSB for TES-43 entry of Indian Army.  A proud moment for the familly and the mentors  at  AMAS. He will be probably the first officer from this village. Sachin a meritorious student of  DAV Public School Kaithal he he had a dream to  become an officer one day. After finishing his XII he dedicated himself full time for SSB preparation.   He did his 4-week (Aug 2019) plus 2 –week(Jan 2020)   SSB cum Personality Development  mentoring training from AMAS . He worked hard and picked up  the  nuances of SSB tests very  quickly and made AMAS proud  by  clearing  the SSB from  20 SSB Bhopal  for TES-43  entry  on  10 FEB 2020. He becomes AMAS’s  48TH  star in 19 months. We are  proud of him.

LNK ANKESH CHAUHAN RECOMMENDED FROM 11 SSB ALLAHABAD ON 15 JAN 2020- ACC-121 ENTRY SSB

On very first day when I reached 11 SSB, Allahabad, rumors of getting wash out was already there. As previous TES and ACC Batch unfortunately washed out. Everyone in my group of 84 candidates reached hall. Done our OIR which was easy and full of old indication marks which were wrong at many places. Moreover some of the candidates were cheating and making noise. After exam JCO detailed for taking exam, who already noted their chest number scolded them. After that Dr Bharti who was our Psychologist took PPDT in which I made a story on flood relief. They divided 84 candidates in group of five. I was chest no 75 and in 5th group. All of us have given our best because each one of us was 2 times conference out. There was a boy who was of dominating nature and trying to control group. Hello everyone To begin with i would like to thank the faculty of AMAS and would advise everyone to follow everything that is being told to you in the class religiously. That really helps . The little tips that sir gives keep that in your mind. It works wonders in the GT. For screening I just practice RS Agarwal and Arihant. It improved my speed and calculation which helped in my OIR. The questions are really simple and logic based. Be confident of what you say and remember be humble to everyone (For the freshers batch). Just think that nobody is greater or lower than you. Don't get intimidated at all. GT is all about your team. Be cordial , don't forget the war cry the GTO notices that , try to be at front in case you are not just support your team. Every action every blink of your eye is being recorded by the GTO. Interview is yours.. if you know who you are and why. Spend time with yourself. It works wonders. Know your surroundings. THE STORY OF DIGVIJAY IS SIMPLY A STORY OF GRIT AND DETERMINATION. DIGVIJAY HAD NOT CLEARED SSB FOR 9 TIMES BETWEEN 2016 AND 2019. IN SEPTEMBER 2019 HE WAS REFERRED TO AMAS BY HIS CLOSE FRIEND GURVINDER WHO WAS AN AMAS STUDENT AND HAD CLEARED SSB FROM KAPURTHALA. ON HIS RECOMMENDATION DIGVIJAY CAME TO AMAS FOR OUR 4-WEEK FLAGSHIP COURSE. DURING THE TRAINING AT AMAS HE PAID UTMOST ATTENTION IN THE CLASS TO ALL ASPECTS WHICH WERE TAUGHT BY THE FACULTY MEMBERS. LT NIDHI DUBEY- A STORY OF GRIT , GUIDANCE AND SUCCESS SSB

Nidhi is wife of an army soldier who had laid down his life while serving in MAHAR Regiment. She came to MAHAR REGIMENT CENTRE in 2016 where she was guided by Col Mohinder Pal Singh( now Director AMAS) who was the Battalion Commander at MRC that time conducting SSB training for the soldiers of the MAHAR Regiment . She had earlier tried 3 times for SSB but had not succeeded. She took keen interest in the 8- week SSB training and performed well. on 31 May 2016 she was selected from 24 SSB Bangalore. She joined OTA in Oct 2016 and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in Sep 2017 in AOC. She is presently at CMM Jabalpur doing her Young offcers training.
